EDO Performance was present at the So-Cal Import Summer Daze, City of Industry on Sunday, September 26, presented by JDM Sports and Elite Autosports. The event attracted about 30 vendors and over 200 attendees.
Way before the event started, the event site was filled with all kind of show cars, from the glamor black Ferrari, stunning slide-door Mercedes, to well-modified JDM cars.
The event officially started at 11.30pm. Some of the highlights were show girls appearance, various of games and competitions for giveaway stuffs sponsored by vendors. EDO gave away bunch of T-shirts and plate frames.
Also special thanks to our buddies for their time to display their car at our booth: Mike Baker’s Red Subaru STi and Mike Abayani’s Black Subaru WRX.

Third year, the S3 all-Subaru gathering was bigger and better than last year. This year on a nice day up in Santa Barbara, CA there were well over 100 cars and 16 vendor booths. EDO Performance had two booths at the S3 2011 showcasing our products for the Subaru, and also gave out free gifts to the show’s attendees. Some of the brands that we carry are M7, Tomioka Racing, Zero/Sports, Cusco, Motul lubricants and many more. Also offered some awesome discounts during the S3 show on selected products we carry including Buy 1 get 1 free on select Motul Products! If you missed the show you can still come down to our show room in Huntington Beach and check out the amazing craftsmanship and performance offered by the brands we carry.

On April 30, 2011, EDO Performance celebrated its tenth anniversary by hosting an event at our shop located in Huntington Beach, California. The highlight of the event was an open invitation for cars of all makes and models. We had all sorts of cars show up including Subaru, Mitsubishi and more.
Starting from 10am, our parking lot was filled with a bustling crowd of car enthusiasts, socializing and having a good time. We invited Motul to display a full line of performance lubricants and they offered a great promotion, buy 1 get 1 free on that day. SoCal EVO was here to show support to our event.
There was raffle drawing starting on every hour starting from 12pm, containing lots of prizes donated by many vendors including Tomioka Racing, Motul, M7 Japan and Lot USA. The grand prize for the raffle was a Tomioka Racing 11 lbs light weight battery.
We supplied burgers, hot-dogs, chips and drinks for everyone in attendance as well as entertainment for the day. We proudly invited DJ Bobby Play to play the cool music and two game booths (dart toss and basketball shoot) to win gifts such as T-shirts, key chains, plate frames, stickers and decals.
Overall this was an exciting day and it appeared that everyone attending had a great time. We would like to thank all of the vendors, shops, and individuals who showed up to support our shop on its fifth anniversary. And of course, we would also like to thank the local community for attending and making our event a success.

For ten years now, EDO Performance has been bringing the automotive performance community some of the best parts, service and prices. Well now it’s time to celebrate our 10th anniversary open house! EDO Performance would like to invite the Southern California automotive performance community to come by our shop in Huntington Beach for a full day of fun! Although we specialize mostly in Subaru, Nissan, and Mitsubishi, we would like to extend this invitation to cars of all makes and models.
The open house will be on Saturday, April 30th at our shop in Huntington Beach, located at 16182 Gothard Street, Unit P. We will be dedicating the entire parking lot to the event and filling it with plenty of activities!

This past weekend we heard UCI’s (University of California, Irvine) car club “Imports@UCI” was holding their 5th annual car show!
UCI has always had a great import car culture! Back in early 2000 to 2004 we’d often meet at UCI with our groups of Honda’s, Acura’s, and BMW’s. Now it’s 2011, 7 years since I’ve last been to any UCI event or meet, I figured there had to be much change to UCI’s car culture. To my delight there was more then the usual Honda’s, Acura’s, and BMW’s. There was lots of friendly people and an all around good time vibe going.
Despite the weather there was a great turnout! Lots of awesome cars, great sponsors, free food, free nos, the ladies from Drifting Pretty, and much more!
We’d like the thank Imports@UCI for putting together a great event.
Can’t wait for UCI’s next car show ^_^!

Subiefest 2010 was successfully held on last Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Willow Spring Raceway. It was a sunny day with comfort temperature, followed by the chilled and rainy weather for past couple days. About 8 am early morning, cars have already lined up by the entrance and the drivers started practicing at race track.
As the master distributor of M7 USA and Tomioka Racing, also one of the main sponsor of Subiefest, EDO Performance was taking this opportunity to displaying full line of Subaru products such as M7 gauges, intercooler kit, oil catch tank, oil filters, and racing oils; TR turbos, exhaust manifolds, and light-weight batteries; Cusco strut bars, sway bars, motor and tranny mounts; Zero Sports radiator shrouds, intercooler splitters, cool thermos, and radiator caps; Motul racing fluids. M7 and TR also offered partial sponsorship signup to the public.

Sashin at the MC stage next to our booth was announcing the events highlights, introducing all the sponsors, and more attractively, giving out raffle items throughout the day. EDO contributed M7 Super B5 Brake Fluid, TR Timing Belt Guides, and a pair of TR Ramps worth of $200 value. EDO also sponsored entry for JC Meynet to race for Unlimited Class at Subiefest. Since 2008, JC with his 550 horsepower 2006 STi has been on excellent standing for many time attack events.
Not to forget mention the great detailing work done by Ryan O’sullivan, Executive Look to polish and shine up our “EDO 400″ as the most stunning show car that attracted public. Since the announcement of M7 & TR is launching to USA earlier this year, many Subaru enthusiasts came by to our booth to check out the parts and the show car.
The event wrapped up around 6pm with the grand raffle item and award ceremony for all the champions of different classes. The Subiefest 2010 is one of the biggest Subie events ever this year with 16 vendors, 200 more public showed up, and about 20 Subaru attended for car show competition. EDO will come back next year for sure!

Cypress, California – Tomioka Racing was present during Mitsubishi Owners Day 2010 showcasing our product lines for the Mitsubishi Evolution VIII/IX/X. This was our first appearance at one of the most anticipated Mitsubishi events of the year. From our humble beginning with just one product line, the Tomioka Racing Super Slope, Tomioka Racing has gown its product lines to include exhaust and engine components.
The day started at 7 in the morning for our team to set –up the booth and displays. Within few hours, the lot at the Mitsubishi Motors of North America was packed with manufacturers and enthusiasts. Among the day’s events were the Dyno Challenge and DSport “Best of Show” award. There were also plenty of display vehicles from the first generation Eclipse, the classic Mitsubishi Starion, 3000GT to modern Evolution sport sedans.
To spice the day, Tomioka Racing offered generous Sponsorship prices exclusively for the MOD 2010 attendees on its Mitsubishi Evolution products. Products on the sponsorship offers include the exhaust manifolds for the Evolution X 4B11 and Evolution VIII/IX 4G63, cat-back exhaust and divorced-type downpipe for the Evolution X 4B11, TD06-20G turbocharger for the Evolution VIII/IX 4G63. In addition to exhaust components and turbocharger, Tomioka Racing also brought its signature product, the Tomioka Super Slope, to raise our JDM-themed Evolution IX on display by 3-inches off the ground. We also showcased the TR Performance light-weight batteries. The batteries weight at just 6 lbs with options to go all the way to 21 lbs for those who need serious cranking amperage with some weight reductions.
Tomioka Racing was founded in 2006 with manufacturing of racing ramps to help customers raise the lowered vehicles by 3-inches off the ground to make rooms for car jack tools. Tomioka Racing ramp has one of the most compact designs in the industry, weighing just 10 lbs for a pair of ramp. Ever since the launch of racing ramps, the company has established network of dealers in USA and international distributors in the United Kingdom, Turkey, Australia and Asia. It was a first EVO meet in 2010, hosted by SoCal EVO & HB Mitsubishi. EDO as one of the main distributor & a Tuning shop for EVO, we were invited to set a booth there. There was about 100 EVOs show up and filled the parking lots. At EDO booth, we gave out T-shirts and other gifts to the public. We have 3 sponsored EVOs displayed at our booth, which we have to special thanks to our guesses: Alan Vanous, Steven Welch, & Martin Enriquez for showing up there. The EVO fans were impressed with what EDO has accomplished to the displaying EVOs. Couple power packages were presented to the EVO fans. Despite that, EDO also displayed some popular parts for EVOs such as: Cusco sway bars & strut bars, Motul Racing Oils & Braille batteries. Raffle was taken place at 2pm, where EDO has contributed 2 Motor oils on raffle.

Followed by the Formula Drift, EDO was invited to participate at the JTuned Super Meet on 11/21/09, 9am – 3pm at Irwindale Speedway. EDO was setting booth on behalf of Braille Battery USA, which is the main sponsor to Formula Drift on 2009. We were displaying some Braille Batteries and one of our show cars, Nissan Skyline R33 at the meet.
This event is for all drifters to compete for the chance to battle at Formula Drift Championship 2010.
