Buttonwillow Raceway, California – 11/10/2010 – It was a cloudy and windy morning at the race track in Butttonwillow. M7 Japan is proud to be the contingency sponsor for the Super Lap Battle 2010, a time trial-based showcase of the fastest cars from U.S, Japanese and European tuners. As a sponsor of Super Lap Battle 2010, M7 showcased its full-line of racing products during the event finals. M7 has been a major sponsor of world-class racing events in Japan in the likes of D1 Grand Prix and Super GT Championship in Japan. In addition, M7 also sponsors international racing drivers and motorsports disciplines from Drag racing to Formula car racing.
“We’re proud to be associated with the Super Lap Battle 2010 event,” said M7 Japan general manager, “It’s a tradition of M7 to support racing event to bring out the best drivers of its class.” This year, M7 sponsored J.C Meynet with his 2006 Subaru STi in Limited AWD car class. Among J.C Meynet’s accomplishments include 2008 Subiefest Overall Champion and 2008 Red Line Time Attack AWD champion. In this year Super Lap Battle, J.C compiled the best overtime lap in its class and group with time of 1:51.240 outpacing Honda S2000, Mitsubishi Evolution, Toyota Supra, Audi A4 Quattro and BMW M3 in its class. In all, J.C had the top five fastest in overall time. This year’s top five fastest lap-time was very close within 5/10, 2/10, 4/10 and 3/10 seconds apart respectively. Although M7 USA/ Edo Performance 2008 Subaru STi didn’t get to participate in the Super Lap Battle, the car was present under the M7 booth for public views.
Super Lap Battle was presented by Import Tuner, Super Street, Euro Tuner, Modified and Honda Tuning magazines. This year’s Super Lap Battle in Buttonwillow is one of the first events that M7 sponsored, and we look forward to next year’s Super Lap Battle. Drivers prepare your cars!

Buttonwillow Raceway, California (November 9, 2010) – Import Tuner Evo Vs STi was successfully held on Buttonwillow Raceway, California. The day started at 7.30 in the morning with EDO Performance crew performed final preparation and check on the M7/EDO Performance 2008 Subaru STi for the shootout. Practice lap started sharply at 9.00.
The M7/EDO Performance 2008 Subaru STi achieved 9th place with time of 2:06.751. Powering the 2008 Subaru STi were the Tomioka Racing bolt-on TD05-20G turbocharger, Tomioka Racing Equal Length header, M7 Power Flow filter, Zero/Sports intercooler air splitter and TR Performance light-weight battery. On the handling, the car is equipped with M7 Super Performance Damper, Cusco front & rear swaybar, lower arm bar, rear strut bar. As our driver, J.C Meynet put it, “the car handles very well for its respectable power.” The car had M7 T-Titan Sports Muffler and downpipe to help its high-flowing exhaust. Finally, the 2008 Subaru STi sported full hybrid body-kit from Zero/Sports.
The event wrapped up around 6pm with the award ceremony. This year AMS with its Mitsubishi Evolution won the top honor for best time. With all the excitement on this year’s shootout, M7 /Edo Performance will be ready for next year’s shoot out. Improvements on the project 2008 STi will continue!

EDO Performance attended The Subaru Summer Solstice event on Saturday, June 19th 2010 in La Jolla, California.
As one of the featured sponsor of S3 event, EDO showcased few great product lines for Subaru enthusiasts such as Tomioka Racing Turbos, exhaust manifolds, racing batteries, and etc. Despite that, we also displayed Zero Sports, Cusco, and Motul products. We offered great discount for all showcase products and Zero Sports selected items for clearance.
The events started on 10am. It was such a perfect day for an event, sunny and breeze as right besides the shore. There were 16 vendor booths setup side to side from the main stage, which EDO booth was just next to it. Jeri Lee, the featured model of S3 event caught attention to the public for pictures taking and autographs signing and DJ with lives music on the event. Sashin & Yukio, the event MC raffled out many cool products throughout the event. EDO has raffled 2 sets of Tomioka Racing Ramps. Almost 400 Subarus attended on the car show and more than 500 public showed up.
The event wrapped up around 3.30pm after the last raffle, and Cobb Tuning access port was given out. With the impressive number of show cars and attendees, S3 was definitely successful with such an impressive results and EDO will definitely attend for the next one!

Followed by the Formula Drift at Long Beach back in April, EDO showed up on the FD finale at Toyota Speedway, Irwindale on last Saturday 10/17/09. EDO was representing Braille Battery to set a booth at vendor meet section, which is one of the main sponsors for Formula Drift.
It was a nice sunny day after a cold weather in Southern California. The event opened for public at 1pm, which was the Open Practice time for all drifters at the speedway. The vendors meet section was crowded with traffic, especially when all the drift cars & drivers were resting at their booth. The main sponsors like Falken, BG Goodrich, Cooper Tire, & etc. was having DJ playing music, show girls, professional drift drivers signing poster, & free gifts to public. There’s also a show car section with all kind of exotic cars, vintage cars, modified cars & etc. lined up.
This time, EDO displayed new release products by Braille Batteries – 9 lbs & 12 lbs Lithium Batteries. It’s a Lightweight, stronger cranking amp, and longer product life, which is launch to the market now to target the 2010 racing season! The public was so impressed with the tiny, extremely light-weighted batteries, also with its reasonable price.
The event wrapped up around 9pm. Chris Forsberg with his Nissan 350Z takes the championship of the 2009. It was an awesome event and EDO / Braille will definitely come back to showing more cool products to the drift fans in 2010!
